July 2014 Business Before Hours
The first Business Before Hours event was held on Thursday, July 24. More than 30 people participated in the inaugural event. Attendees participated in a "Six Degrees of Separation" networking activity, enjoyed breakfast provided by Heartland Regional Medical Center and listened to a presentation about Disaster Recovery by James Mayer with Mayer Networks. Marion Chamber of Commerce Business Before Hours events are held on the fourth Thursday, every quarter (July, October, January and April) during the year, at 7:45 a.m. at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Classroom 1. Presenters for each Business Before Hours are chosen by the Marion Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee. There is no cost for Marion Chamber of Commerce members to attend the event or be presenters for the event.

Those in attendance enjoyed networking, as well as hors d'oeuvres and drinks provided by Kokopelli and a reception for Judy Batchelor, who is now sailing with South Porte Bank!
