Available and upcoming Scholarships for the Leavenworth county Area.

CGSC Foundation, Inc.

The CGSC Foundation offers a competitive Scholarship Program open to high school seniors who will begin their college studies in the next fall and for undergraduate college students returning to school. Immediate family (children, grandchildren and spouses) of Life Members of the Foundation’s Alumni Association are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
Application window opens January 5, 2026 and closes March 15, 2026.

Fort Leavenworth Spouses Club
+ High School Senior Scholarships- The applicant must be a high school graduate from a local high school and reside within a 40 mile radius from Fort Leavenworth during the 2024-2025 school year pursuing a degree at an accredited institution.
Applications will be open January 1- March 1.
+ Continuing Undergraduate Scholarships - The applicant must have at least one parent currently residing in the Fort Leavenworth/Leavenworth community pursuing continued education at an accredited institution.

The John W. Piollon Memorial Scholarship
+ High School Senior Scholarships- This scholarship is open to high school seniors and graduates who are dependents of U.S. military personnel currently or recently assigned to Fort Leavenworth, as well as dependents of civilian employees assigned to the installation.

Kansas Kiwanis Foundation Scholarships
+ High School and College Students. This year the Kansas Kiwanis Foundation will award 46 scholarships to Kansas High School and College students worth $41,550.00 to assist them with their education. 
Application Deadline: February 1, 2026 (must be postmarked no later than Feb. 1, suggest mailing application by January 24, 2026)

League of Women Voters of Leavenworth County
The League of Women Voters of Leavenworth County will award a $500 scholarship to a Leavenworth County Senior graduating High School in 2026 who will be attending a university, college, or vocational/technical school.
