Leap Lab is a Network of Science Centers that Teach Self-Reliance to Build thriving Communities. When like-minded people share the workplace, a culture of collaboration forms, projects, and programs become more powerful, robust, and impactful.
Replicable model of informal science learning that uses a co-working environment to create an atmosphere of collaboration, communication, and combined action between organizations working on environmental and social justice. Typical museums, zoos, aquariums, and science centers are centralized institutions with limited geographic reach. How often do citizens of small towns get to the big city to visit these places? Maybe a field trip once in grade school? LEAP LAB aims to place centers in small towns beyond the reach of these larger institutions.
