Los Angeles - The Debbie Allen Dance Academy (DADA) will officially move into new studio space on June 19 at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza (BHCP). Dancers from the internationally acclaimed academy will host a welcoming party for their new community with “Up On The Roof” an innovative and high-energy, Summer Dance Series that will be performed on the roof of the mall June 25th – 27th and July 3rd.
"We’re so happy to be moving into our new home at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza,” said DADA founder Debbie Allen. “We want the entire community to join us for our opening and experience DADA. We’ve got something for everyone – tap, flamenco, modern, ballet, jazz and hip hop taught by our world class faculty led by Director, Madame Alla Khaniashvili, prima ballerina from the Bolshoi. Everyone who comes will be dancing on the roof!”
• Thursday June 25 – 7 p.m.
• Friday June 26 – 6 p.m.
• Saturday June 27 – 12 noon & 5:30 p.m.
• Friday July 3- 7:30 p.m.
