Laurie Wagner Buyer and W.C. Jameson will double the fun of the weekend with a Writing Workshop on Saturday June 30th at 2:00 PM at the Florissant Public Library. This will be followed that same Saturday evening with original music at the Pikes Peak Historical Society Museum at 7:00 PM. This outdoor concert is free, but guests are requested to bring their own lawn chair and dress for the cold mountain air. Space is limited for the Writer's Workshop, and a donation of $20 is requested. The first 30 attendees to register for the Writer's Workshop will receive a free copy of "Want to be a Successful Writer: Do This Stuff" by W.C. Jameson.
The Sunday Chautauqua and book signing will take place at the new Florissant Library on Sunday July 1, 2012, at 2:00 PM. Admission is free and refreshments are provided. Seating is limited, so please come early. Florissant is located 35 miles west of Colorado Springs on Highway 24, and the Florissant Library is located at 334 Circle Drive, adjacent to the Florissant Park. For more information, call 748-3562.
