Hats off to our Supervisors

The Plumas County Board of Supervisors and the County Adminstrative Officer presented a balanced budget for public comment this past Tuesday.  In a difficult economy with significant reductions in revenues they have worked hard these past years and made many difficult decisions in order to retain essential services to our County.

A much appreciated vote of support was given to the four Chamber of Commerces in the County when they voted to retain and add to grant monies given each Chamber.  This was done in acknowledgement of the increasing importance of tourism and the flow of tourism dollars to County businesses and the role each Chamber plays toward this end.

Our hats are off to you!
