No doubt the true winners of the parade were the people watching from the street.  But there was much fun to be had among the participants as well!

Momboosa: Lake Almanor's First Music Festival

The Momboosa Music Festival brought new and returning visitors to the Chester Meadow with an event that rocked the meadow and left us all wanting more.

Did you have fun? Let us know!

Thank you Neil and Jess Horning, partners in Momboosa, Inc. and their family for a great time and giving so much to our community.

Momboosa Inc. became a Chamber Community Partner in February of this year.  The financial support of our Community Partners and the wide marketing arm that Neil and Jess offer has been key to the Chamber's ability to begin a new and aggressive marketing campaign for rural tourism to our area.

If you did not get one of Jen Harris' shirts, winner of the Momboosa Art Contest, they will be available at B & B Booksellers. Funds received go to Jen's Scholarship fund from Momboosa.

4th of Events Wow Visiting Friends & Merchants

4th of July Activities bring joy to visitors and businesses.

Favorite traditions continued and new traditions began with Lake Alamanor's first ever music festival.

What a weekend!  Starting with the Momboosa Wine Walk on Saturday, which brought 750 people through the merchants and services of Chester, and a sold out Momboosa pre-party Friday night at Bailey Creek Golf Course, the 4th of July weekend was off to an incredible start.

Early reports from merchants indicate some had record sales during the 2-days of the Wine Walk. The Chester Classic Fun Run registered just shy of 500 participants, their largest run to date. The Parade had a significant increase in parade entries over last year with the California Highway Patrol estimating record parade goers lining our Main Street.
