The LPHS and Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the history of Litchfield Park and the surrounding West Valley of Phoenix. Located in historic 'Aunt Mary's House' the volunteers have collected and preserved in archival and museum storage serveral thousand historical artifacts, photographs, documents and film. In addition to the permanent collection the museum has two rotating exhibits. The museum is open to the public and the admission is free.
The Arizona Farm and Ranch Experience is dedicated to preserving the farming and ranching legacy of Arizona through educational programs for youth through adult. When completed the 30 acre AFARE site will contain a heritage museum, tractor museum, conference and education center surrounded by flower and vegetable gardens, orchards.
