In the late 1930s, more than 150,000 volunteers with a love for aviation argued for an organization to put their planes and flying skills to use in defense of their country. As a result, the Civil Air Patrol was born one week prior to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Civil Air Patrol enjoys a proud legacy of selfless sacrifice and service to country and community that spans decades.

As the 'Veteran-hiring Concierge'" we coach and train employers how to find and keep Veteran talent in ways that will strengthen your workforce. We are not headhunters/recruiters. As the "Military Ministry Builder," we equip volunteer faith community leaders to start/sustain military ministries in your place of worship. The Remembering Heroes Foundation was inspired after helping out a fellow veteran in need by turning his backyard into his perfect dream yard. After that, our aim was to help recognize those in the community who do more than their part, exceeding expectations. Heroes we like to call them, with our parent organization Artificial Grass Masters, we are able to make your landscaping dreams within reach. We are a non-profit organization that willingly accepts donations to help other heroes dreams come true. Become a part of the Remembering Heroes Foundation family by giving what you can and we will pay it forward, beautifying our community one fellow Hero at a time!

The American's With Disabilities (ADA) definition of "service animal" reads as follows: A "service animal means any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not service animals for the purposes of this definition." Furthermore, "A service dog must be individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service dogs under the ADA." There are 3 categories of Assistance Dogs for individuals with disabilities: -Guide Dogs, also known as Seeing Eye Dogs, are trained to guide a blind or partially blind person around obstacles to get where they need to go. -Hearing Dogs also known as Signal Dogs are alert to sounds that a deaf or hearing impaired individual cannot hear. -Service Dogs are dogs who are trained to help people with disabilities other than visual or hearing impairments. Some examples of such needs are mobility, psychiatric, and medical alert for diabetes, seizures or other conditions. -Facility dogs are trained to provide services to agencies that serve our community, such as child advocacy centers, police departments and legal services.
