The Lake Almanor Community Foundation was formed in 2002 to provide an entity that would promote
Cultural activities and raise funds for community services in the Lake Almanor Basin. Over the past years the Foundation has been pleased to donate approximately $30,000.00 to the music and arts programs in the
Chester, Westwood and Greenville schools. In addition the Foundation sponsors the weekly summer band-shell
programs at Lake Almanor Country Club, as well as A Few Beers and a Banjo. The Foundation also partners
with the Almanor Basin Community Resource Center (ABC) in serving the Community Supper. The Foundations
is a 501(c)3 corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. |
