WHAT IS THE CANDIDATES ACADEMY? The Candidate Academy is designed to inform and educate individuals in the Anthony Wayne area who are considering running for an elected office or simply want to better understand the election process. The courses outlines the basic issues,requirements, expectations and practices associated with various types of public service in the region. Academy participants will learn what is involved in running a successful campaign,serving in public office and building coalitions.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Current public officials, Private citizens considering running forpublic office, Individuals appointed to various boards, committees and commissions; Anyone employed in a position that requires interaction with elected officials.
