Torres states “most heroin addicts are people with jobs--accountants, lawyers, construction workers, nurses, and secretaries. In other words, they are people who go to work every day. Businesses need to be educated about what can be done for those who may be an addict. The Chamber Partnership, by working together with the Heroin alliance, can strategize and develop resources for our members and the business community and this symposium will unveil those resources for local businesses.”
