We have developed a program offering mini grants to Oconee County teachers and support staff who wish to implement creative and innovative educational projects within their classrooms, but are unable to secure funding through traditional sources. That's where we step in.
Mini-grant monies must be used to purchase materials, supplies, equipment, etc. necessary for the successful completion of a project. For example, a mini grant could be used to purchase science equipment for a special science experiment, to purchase software packages for computer applications in any number of curriculum areas, or to fund parent study skill programs designed to improve the quality of parental involvement in their child’s homework.

We are collecting fly spray (bought at Athens Seed), bottled waters, paper towels, toilet paper, Equate (Walmart) dandruff shampoo, liquid hand soap, or spray sunscreen to be donated to Oconee Therapeutic Riding if you would like to participate, please bring them to the event!
All ticket sales goes to our Woman in Business scholarship. That scholarship is used to go to a woman in our community that has a need!
