We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us bring downtown Kingman to life. The 2025 First Friday season is April through November. Whether you love setting up, capturing great moments, or keeping things running smoothly, there’s a role for you!
Volunteering is a fun, rewarding way to support local businesses, connect with the community, and be part of an event that brings thousands of people together.

Volunteer Positions Available:
â HeadquartersBooth Attendants – The Booth Attendant serves as the central hub for First Friday operations, providing information, assistance, and support to attendees and volunteers.
â Parking Patrol – The Parking Patrol will monitor the vehicles inside the event area and inform downtown visitors and business owners to relocate their vehicle to designated parking areas.
â Set-up Crew – Event Setup Assistance: Support vendors in unloading equipment, setting up booths, tents, tables, and displays before the event commences. Work with Roadies to ensure that all setups comply with event guidelines and safety standards.
â Barricade Crew – The Barricade Crew plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for attendees at First Friday by managing street closures and maintaining pedestrian safety.
â Roadies – Roadie Volunteers to assist vendors and attendees. Roadies serve as a vital link between organizers and participants. â Photographers & Videographers – Capture the energy and excitement of First Friday! Share live content on social media and help create professional-quality media for advertising, training, and sponsor promotions.
â Tear-down Crew – Support vendors in breakdown of equipment, booths, tents, tables, and displays at the conclusion of the event. Assist with picking up games, vendor space markers, sponsor signs, and assist with general event cleanup.

Summer heat means staying hydrated is more important than ever. We’re in need of plain drinking water for our volunteers working hard in the warehouse and for our clients who rely on us for essential support.

The public is invited to theMohave Republican Forum’s meeting on Wednesday evening, July 9, 2025, commencing at 5:30 PM at the Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center, at which Lydia Durst, Mohave County Recorder, Jeff Ryder, MCRCC District 1 Director, and Timothy Griepp, Member at Large AZ will be speaking and answering questions. Lydia Durst will speak about the recent developments regarding the B.O.S. denial of accepting a scholarship for voting improvement training for voter registration officials, and other matters of the Recorder’s office. Jeff Ryder will discuss what a Precinct Committeeman is and purpose they serve, and Timothy Griepp is the Member at Large State Committeeman and will give an update on the AZ GOP.
LOCATION: The MRF meetings are now being held at the Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center, 1776 Airway Ave. #B, Kingman, AZ 86409. The meeting room should be open by 4:30 PM and the program begins at 5:30 PM. Bottled water will be available and sodas/drinks from a vending machine will also be available. There is an admission charge of $3 per person to assist with the meeting costs.
