On December 12th and 13th from 9:30am to 1:30 pm, our Streets Will be filled with 5th graders ready and eager to spend their hard-earned money with the Merchants of Old Town. The fifth Grade Teachers of Martha P. King Elementary School have been hard at work With their wonderful Students teaching them about economics and how it applies in their lives. This is a great opportunity for each us to get involved with these Students, and help make them aware of Boulder City and what it has to offer. This Will also be an exciting event for those who have wares to sell, restaurants, or anyone wanting the chance to advertise their services. We are expecting quite a bit of media attention and many parents and adult chaperons will be with the kids. It is so important for our city merchants and residents to work together, and what better way than to help the Children learn more about our economic climate. These kids are able to receive hands-on experience that Will later lead to smart consumers and at the same time will be helping the Boulder City economy. The Chamber will once again put together a coupon book that the Children will have a chance in advance to search through and look for bargains that will suit their shopping needs.
