Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 25 at 7 PM as the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center hosts Lincoln Larsen, in his debut Trumpet Recital as Director of Music and Performing Arts. Teaming up with pianist Laura Garred, Lincoln will take the audience on a musical journey spanning styles, moods, and eras.

What makes this recital especially unique is the variety of instruments you’ll hear—four different trumpets will make an appearance: the bright Piccolo trumpet, the sparkling Eb, the versatile C, and the warm, mellow Cornet. Each will bring its own distinct color and character to the program.

The evening promises not only great music, but also a chance to connect with our campus and community. Admission is free, with a free-will donation supporting music scholarships at Iowa Lakes.

After the final note, stick around for a reception to visit with the performers.
