Join us as we welcome Amanda Clark, Public Historian and Community Tours Manager at Missouri Historical Society, for a fascinating presentation celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Route 66. Discover how the iconic "Mother Road" shaped Missouri communities, fueled local businesses, and continues to influence tourism, economic development, and community pride today. Drawing from her work as a public historian, Amanda will offer a fresh perspective on how preserving and sharing local history strengthens community identity, supports tourism, and inspires future generations. She'll also highlight the role Route 66 continues to play as communities commemorate its centennial and look toward the future.

In addition to an engaging presentation, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch and the opportunity to connect with fellow Chamber members and business professionals from across the region. Join us as we celebrate the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the newest Jimmy John’s location in Fenton, brought to the community by the Maverick Group team! Come connect with fellow Chamber members, meet the team, and help us give this new location a warm welcome to the Fenton business community. Ribbon Cuttings are a great opportunity to show support for fellow members, celebrate business growth, and recognize the investment local businesses make in our community.

The Fenton Chamber will officially kick off the celebration with a Ribbon Cutting at 10:00 AM, followed by Grand Opening festivities from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM featuring half-off sandwiches, a live remote with KSHE 95, special appearances, Jimmy John’s swag, and try their new house-made lemonade.

The Fenton Chamber is proud to celebrate this exciting new chapter for TASK (Team Activities for Special Kids) as they officially open their new greenhouse. This beautiful addition will provide meaningful opportunities for individuals with special needs to learn new skills, build confidence, and grow through hands-on experiences in a supportive environment.

Come connect with fellow Chamber members, tour the new greenhouse, meet TASK staff, board members, patrons and friends, plus learn more about the organization's mission of empowering individuals with special needs through education, vocational training, and community engagement. Light refreshments will be served.
