GPCC Luncheon Meetings

Join us for the Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce’s twice-monthly luncheon meetings, where business and community come together to connect, learn, and grow. Each luncheon features a curated speaker or panel highlighting topics that matter most to our members — from industry updates and economic trends to local issues and community initiatives.

Our luncheons are open to everyone, with free attendance for GPCC members. Guests are welcome to join for a small fee. Please be sure to register in advance so we can plan the room setup and provide an accurate guest count to our caterer.

Many GPCC sponsorship levels include complimentary lunch benefits, so if you’re unsure whether your organization has meals included, please reach out to our staff — we’re happy to help!

The Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors meets on the second Thursday of each month at 8:00 AM, unless otherwise scheduled. These meetings provide an opportunity for Chamber leadership to review organizational business, discuss upcoming events and initiatives, and work together to support the Chamber’s mission of promoting and advancing the Palmer business community.

Ribbon Cutting Celebration: Dead Horse Donuts Opens in Palmer

The Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a ribbon cutting celebration for Dead Horse Donuts on Monday, November 18 at 9:00 a.m. Join us as we officially welcome this sweet new addition to the Palmer business community.

Dead Horse Donuts brings a delicious mix of handcrafted donuts, fresh coffee, and hometown hospitality to Palmer. Whether you’re stopping in for a morning treat or meeting friends over a cup of coffee, this new shop promises to become a local favorite.

The Chamber invites members, community partners, and residents to come out, show your support, and help celebrate the grand opening. Let’s give Dead Horse Donuts a warm Palmer welcome—see you on November 18!

Dates: November 20 – December 18, 2025

How it Works:

Businesses will return entry cards on November 28, December 5, December 12, and December 19. (December 18 is the last day to enter.)

Weekly prize drawings take place on Mondays: December 1, 8, 15, and 22.

Prizes:

Weekly winners can choose either two $250 gift cards or one $500 gift card to participating businesses.

The grand prize winner receives $1,000 to spend at one location or split among up to four participating businesses ($250 each).

How to Participate:

Shop at your favorite local businesses.

For every $10 spent, earn a stamp on your entry card.

Collect 10 stamps and you could be one of our lucky winners!

Now in its 11th season, Alaska’s own songwriter game show with an improv twist returns to Palmer with an all-star lineup guaranteed to deliver dazzling musicianship, lightning wit, and that unmistakable feeling that we’re all in this together.  The artists will take turns playing songs, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, and riffing with each other through six themed rounds of increasing musical challenge with an opportunity for audience participation to make it even more challenging.

The event will be hosted by the Valley's own Kevin Worrell and will include phenomenal talent from around the corner in Palmer as well as internationally known musicians - local fan favorites The Robotz, Juno-nominated Canadian singer-songwriter Barbara Lica, and Branden Rollins from Seward will be on hand to get your toes tappin' and your funny bone buzzing.
