Easy, slow, 1-mile round trip hike. Search for the beautiful Calypso orchid and listen for the echoing song of the Hermit Thrush. Led by Volunteer Naturalist Jim. 

Jog this easy to moderate route through the beautiful woods of Mueller. Have a glimpse of the Dynamite Cabin. All runners are welcome but this will be at a novice level. Led by Volunteer Marisa. 1.8-mile, round trip, trail run/jog. Please wear proper footwear for running the trails. 

Enjoy the beautiful views along Peak View trail with Naturalist Abby on this gorgeous, 1.5-mile, round-trip hike. 

The Spanish were searching for gold, the US Army was exploring the unknown west, mountain men were living off the land and the gov’t was searching for a route for the railroad to California. Hear about this boom in westward expansion with Volunteer Paul.

Kids’ program about black bears! For ages 3-6 with Volunteer Naturalist Rusty. 

Descend 700 feet elevation and 5-miles RT into the backcountry to see the beautiful Rock Pond and possibly Calypso Orchids! Difficult hike due to elevation change. Led by Volunteer Naturalist Penny.

What’s that prowling around!? Come learn about the different big cats that are in the area and what to do if you see one. Welcome to all ages. Since we don’t have fur like our feline friends, bring a jacket for the cool, evening air.
