Independence Day is observed every year on the 4th of July.   July 4th  is a federal holiday in the United States which commemorates the ratification of the Declaration of Independence by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, establishing the United States of America.

We will be celebrating this holiday on July 3rd 2026

Celebrating 60 years in 2026, this event features fun for the whole family. There's sunrise yoga at 7 a.m., fishing derby, pie eating contest, watermelon eating contest, line dancing, karaoke and more! Vendors are set up with food and drinks (including beer)!  So much to do to Celebrate the 250th Birthday of our Country and 150 Birthday of the State of Colorado!

Learn how to fly fish and how it’s different from other styles like bait fishing, trolling, and spinning. Use your new or seasoned skills to try to catch a fish at one of Mueller’s favorite ponds. Bring a camp chair and water. Best for ages 10 and older.

Join us at the 46thSymphony Above the Clouds FREE concert on Saturday, *July 4th!* featuring the Woodland Park Wind Symphony and opener Rose the The Thorn.

This year the Guild is partnering with the City of Woodland Park’s Old Fashioned 4th of July celebration!

Our annual event will take place in Memorial Park on the actual day of July 4th, following the City event. Gates open at 5pm.
Vendors, food truck and beverage partners (including beer and wine) partners who participate in the daytime celebration will stay into the evening to provide a fun, family event for concert goers.

We look forward to bringing our community together for this fabulous annual event!

Unwind & immerse in nature’s wonder through the healing practice of Forest Bathing/shinrin yoku. Join Nature Therapy Guide Jane for this 1 mile wander to quiet the mind, stir your imagination and connect closely with the land. We'll play with creating art from items found in nature and close with tea brewed from local plants. This program will be outside. Some sit pads will be available or you are welcome to bring your own. Bring water, a small backpack and rain gear. Recommended ages 12+. Pre-register online at cpw.state.co.us/events.

Test your skills or try a new one at this beginner archery class. All supplies are provided, simply come with your listening ears and a good attitude. All ages are welcome; bows have a draw weight of 6-20lbs. A nerf bow station will be available for those unable to pull back the bow string. Some adaptable equipment is available. Call for more details.

This is the ultimate beginners class with in depth, classroom style class on equipment, technique and reading the water. Then end with an hour or more time on the water. Participation in a Mueller fly fishing basics program or personal experience fly fishing is required. It is suggested that you bring your own pole to continue to hone your skills on the equipment you will use outside of the class. Register online at cpw.state.co.us/events.
