The goal of Leadership Jenks is to identify, motivate and educate emerging leaders in our community. Leadership Jenks is a joint community leadership-building program organized by the Jenks Chamber of Commerce.

MISSION

Leadership Jenks aims to promote and enhance community leadership through an in-depth introduction to social, economic, business and policy issues in Jenks. Leadership Jenks provides a rich networking environment and access to community, county and state leaders.

Celebrate 60 years of the Jenks Chamber of Commerce with an unforgettable evening inspired by the elegance of 1966—the year our Chamber was founded and the same year as Truman Capote’s legendary “Party of the Century black & white ball. This milestone event will be a true who’s who of the Chamber, honoring achievements with awards and recognitions, reflecting on our past, and looking ahead to the next 60 years of growth and innovation.

Guests are invited to dress with a nod to the elegance of the 1960s—whether classic cocktail, evening formal, or vintage-inspired.

Creating Meaningful Opportunities.  Back in 1964, a visionary group of parents founded The Bridges Foundation—a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing individuals with developmental disabilities access to vocational training and resources to help them live more independently. Since then, Bridges has been building meaningful connections among individuals, families, and the community through job placement services and hands-on training opportunities. This mission brings us together, working towards our shared goal of empowering those we serve to achieve a better quality of life for themselves and everyone around them!

Join Oklahoma Central Credit Union for Spring into Jenks Landing, a free, family-friendly community event at our Jenks Landing branch. Bring the whole family and enjoy an afternoon filled with live music, a magician, a bounce house and obstacle course, a 360° photo booth, games, food, giveaways, and more.

This event is free and open to the public, and we invite the Jenks community to come celebrate with us and enjoy a fun afternoon of activities and entertainment.

Leadership doesn’t have to be stiff or serious to be effective. In fact, humor is often an underused tool that fuels creativity, strengthens culture, builds resilience, and deepens connection—without sacrificing credibility or impact.

This year’s conference will feature comedian Chris Munch and an interactive experience centered on shared learning and meaningful conversation. Together, we’ll explore the power of humor, how it strengthens leadership and workplace culture, and the ways different humor styles show up in everyday leadership.

Attendees will walk away with practical ways to use humor intentionally and authentically as a leadership skill—fueling creativity, connection, and confidence at work and in daily life. Because on April Fool’s Day, we’re no fools about leadership!
