Paducah is recognized nationally as a model for downtown revitalization, creative placemaking, and community-driven redevelopment. The city’s transformation has been so impactful that Beck Design included Paducah as one of the key examples in the Jenks Redevelopment Master Plan. This visit will provide Jenks leaders the opportunity to:
Through tours, presentations, and conversations, participants will see firsthand how intentional planning and strong partnerships can transform a community. Travel and LodgingPlease be advised that registration does not include airfare or hotel accommodations. A discounted room block is available through the Courtyard by Marriott Paducah, and a link to reserve your room will be provided after registration. The easiest and most economical flight is from Tulsa to Nashville, TN. The registration fee includes a charter bus, which will transport participants from the Nashville airport to the Courtyard Marriott in Paducah at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 16. The bus will return to Nashville airport on Tuesday, November 18, departing the Courtyard at 8:00 a.m. Please note: if you arrive in Nashville after 3:00 p.m. on November 16, you will need to arrange your own transportation to Paducah. The Jenks Optimist Club will serve breakfast in the Jenks City Hall Community Room from 7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m., followed by the Jenks Christmas Parade. The cost is $10 per person, which includes pancakes, sausage, and drinks. Profits raised will go toward the Optimist Club’s annual Christmas Basket donations for families in our school system.
