Held every second Thursday of the month from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., this informal gathering will offer the community the opportunity to enjoy coffee while engaging in open conversation with Mayor Ken Watkins and City Manager Tim Walsh.

Whether you are a long-time resident or new to the community, Coffee with the Mayor and City Manager is designed to foster meaningful dialogue about what is happening in Kingman. Important Service Information: To ensure a safe and orderly environment for all attendees, parking at the church will be restricted to placarded vehicles only. All other attendees will be directed to park at Hualapai Elementary School. The elementary school will also serve as overflow seating for the service.

Kingman Memorial BBQ Fundraiser – In Memory of Robert B. Skankey & Hunter R. Bennett

Join us in Kingman for a special Memorial BBQ Fundraiser supporting the families of our fallen brothers, Robert B. Skankey and Hunter R. Bennett, who lost their lives in the line of duty on February 4, 2026. This community event is hosted in partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 32, the Arizona Troopers Association, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety, with support from the Agency Support Division and Team Room Tactical.

Date: Sunday, February 22, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (BBQ begins at Noon)
Location: Mohave County Fairgrounds, 2600 Fairgrounds Blvd, Kingman, AZ

Enjoy a full day of community support featuring BBQ, pizza, drinks, music, raffles, and a rodeo barrel race. Donations will be accepted and commemorative T-shirts will be available for $25. Admission to the BBQ fundraiser is $10 per person, $5 for ages 5–12, and free for children 4 and under.

All proceeds and donations are tax deductible and will go directly to the families of Robert B. Skankey (Pilot Air Rescue, Aviation Supervisor, Arizona Department of Public Safety) and Hunter R. Bennett (State Trooper Paramedic, Aviation Bureau, Arizona Department of Public Safety). Hello Everyone! We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Mohave County Master Gardener Training Course! Please see below for all of the necessary information. Additionally, the tentative class schedule is attached. 

Location: Mohave County Cooperative Extension Office

Dates: Thursdays, January 15 – April 16, 2026

Time: 9:30 am – 1:00 pm

Fee: $200 (NON-REFUNDABLE), includes 13 weekly 3½ hour classes & flash drive with class presentations

Optional: Hard copies of all class presentation slides, additional $100.

Deadline for enrollment is Monday, January 12, 2026

Kingman Area Chamber Evening Mixer – February 2026
