ABOUT THE INVEST IN YOUTH BREAKFAST

Join us for a morning of inspiration, connection, and community at the YES Invest in Youth Breakfast. This heartwarming event brings together more than 800 community supporters, civic and business leaders, and mental health advocates who share a passion for helping young people and their families thrive.

By attending, you’ll help raise critical funds so children, youth, and families in our community can receive the mental health and substance use treatment they need, regardless of their ability to pay. Together, we aim to raise an ambitious $1 million to ensure that help is always within reach.

Now in its 35th year, the Invest in Youth Breakfast is Youth Eastside Services’ (YES) signature annual fundraiser, fueling life-changing programs and services for children, youth, and families across East King County.

This year’s event will feature heartfelt stories from young YES clients, updates on current youth mental health trends, and an inspirational conversation with Tim Gunn, host of Project Runway and a mental health advocate, moderated by longtime emcee Elisa Jaffe.

Together, we’ll celebrate hope and healing and build a brighter future for youth in our community.

Since 1998, Seattle-based artist Leanne Wilkins has captivated audiences with her haunting melodies and lyrical depth. Blending roots rock with blues and soul influences, she channels a style that’s deeply personal and universally resonant. Her lyrics explore relationships, personal growth, and the search for truth, bringing warmth and authenticity to a sound that defies easy classification. Leanne’s latest single, “A Little Lonely,” recorded with producer Amit Amram at Amit Sounds, reflects her personal interest in supporting the emotional well-being of others. Initially inspired by a 2023 New York Times opinion piece that describes loneliness as a profound public health crisis amongst Americans, Leanne hopes “A Little Lonely” will bring comfort to listeners and encourage deeper connection.
