| 7/16/2026 | Step onto the farm and experience an evening rooted in connection, creativity, and the beauty of the land. You’ll begin with a guided walk through Springfield Acres, hearing the story behind both the flower farm and Gunthorp Farms, before heading into the flower field to cut your own blooms. From there, we’ll gather in the barn where you’ll learn how to arrange your flowers into a beautiful, take-home bouquet. We’ll end the evening around the table, enjoying a farm-fresh meal made with ingredients from local farms and small businesses—because the best connections are made when we gather together. Come slow down, create something beautiful, and experience what it means to be rooted in flowers, farm, and community. What's Included: • Guided farm tour + storytelling • U-pick flowers (create your own bouquet) • Hands-on flower arranging instruction • Farm-fresh meal featuring local ingredients from Gunthorp Farms • Time to relax, explore, and connect • The opportunity to shop at the She Shed Shop & the Gunthorp Farms retail freezer more info... |

| 7/25/2026 -7/26/2026 | Amishland and Lakes has moved the headquarters this year across the street to the Lagrange County 4-H Fairgrounds in LaGrange, Indiana. Visits a world where lifestyles have remained almost unchanged for over a hundred years. One of the friendliest rides around, you’ll enjoy seeing and meeting families, women’s groups, regional cycling clubs, and tandem pairs who tell us they love our routes because they are so “tandem friendly.” There are wide open spaces, clean country air, friendly people and lots of great food. There is plenty to explore, experience and eat. Amishland and Lakes is famous for great SAG food (watermelons, grapes, plum, blueberries, bananas, cookies and more), and there are also Amish bakeries, restaurants and homemade ice cream parlors along the route. This year we have Breakfast from Betra food truck will serve breakfast Saturday and Sunday and after-ride on Saturday. Bike rentals are available from Spin Zone and Pumpkinvine Cyclery bike shops this year. The routes range from 22 to 100 miles, offering smooth, quiet roads, where buggies are numerous and cars are few (both days begin and end at the Community Building at the 4-H Fairgrounds). We also offer directions for a do-it-yourself Friday option to ride the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail. Camping is available at the 4-H Fairgrounds across from our start location. For more details go to http://amishlandandlakes.com For over 50 years, Michiana Bicycle Association has hosted over 800 cyclists the last weekend in July for two days of cycling. With many arriving on Friday from around the Midwest. In cooperation with LaGrange 4H Fairgrounds we offer camping and many of our riders also find other lodging arrangements. more info... |
