If you forgot to schedule, don't hesitate to come in and see if we can fit you in. •Women 40 years and older do not need a doctor’s order for screening (non-symptomatic) mammograms. •Women 35-39 years old may obtain a baseline screening mammogram. They should check with their insurance provider prior to the screening for plan eligibility and coverage. •You will need your insurance card and the name of your primary care physician. •Uninsured women age 40-64 may qualify for a covered mammogram through Early Detection Works. •Patients should not be pregnant or be breastfeeding. •The coach is not ADA-accessible due to vehicle parameters. •On the day of your mammogram, please wear a two-piece outfit so you don’t have to fully disrobe and avoid lotions, deodorants, and powders above the waist more info...

8/2/2025	Pioneer Field Day and Scavenger Hunt Save the date for our Pioneer Field Day and Scavenger Hunt! The FFAM Education Pioneer Field Day and Scavenger Hunt will take place on August 2, 2025 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at the Frontier Army Museum. Children ages 4-12 are invited to attend (with at least one parent) and experience the games and activities children played during the early pioneer days. Families will need to reserve their spot in advance to ensure they can participate in the activities. Reservations can be made starting on July 13 via the registration form on our website, www.ffam.us. The children will be placed in one of three groups designated by age and will rotate every 20 minutes through one of three activity stations. This is a fun event for the entire family, and a chance to experience activities children played before technology. 8/5/2025	Military Affairs Council Meeting The goal of the Leavenworth-Lansing Area Chamber's Military Affairs Council (MAC) is to advance the pro-business climate in the area through military affairs initiatives, and to maintain and enhance the business community's relationship with Fort Leavenworth. The Military Affairs Council works to grow and sustain not only Fort Leavenworth, but other Department of Defense operations in the area. The MAC functions as a liaison between the local military and business communities, implementing programs which provide greater interaction between Chamber members and DOD/military personnel. The MAC hosts various events throughout the year that help to further our community relationships and honor military service. MAC Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month. Saturday, August 9th \| 10 AM–1 PM \| Downtown Leavenworth That’s right—it’s year THREE of our totally quackers scavenger hunt, and we’ve got more clues, more chaos, and yes… even more ducks. Whether you’re a Leavenworth local or just here for the photo ops and pastries, you and your crew are in for a seriously silly downtown adventure. Expect twists, turns, goofy selfies, historical hijinks, maybe a rubber duck in a tutu (who’s to say?), and—of course—PRIZES! How It Works (a.k.a. The Duck Protocol): Form a Team – 4–6 people is ideal (larger families can stay together, but no teams of 47 Aunt Karens, please). Don’t have a full team? Find your duck soulmates on the Facebook event page or invite your new neighbor you’ve awkwardly waved to 12 times. Watch Your Email – The night before the event, you’ll get your team’s login info. (Check your spam folder. Ducks are sneaky.) Download the App – It’s a third-party app you'll need on one device per team with internet and camera access. (Yes, Grandma’s flip phone won’t cut it.)
