Heart Healthy Habits

Join us for our "Heart Health and Nutrition" class presented by UC Davis Health - Dept of Healthy Management and Education. With this class, you will learn how to introduce heart-healthy habits and exercise into your daily routine. You will also receive tips on reading food labels and navigating menus. Also, you will have the chance to get your blood pressure checked for free between 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. No appointment is necessary and it will be staffed by Registered Nurses. This is a free event and is open to the public.

Join us to learn about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and how service dogs can help those affected by PTSD. Representatives from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and 4 Paws 2 Freedom will share information on the symptoms, causes, and treatment of PTSD, the benefits of having a PTSD service dog, and how to work with the VA to get a service dog. This is a free event and is open to the public.
