Sensory play is a fully accessible program for children with any special needs, including those on the autism spectrum, their siblings and friends. Sessions include modified open play and special programming.  These 90-minutes play sessions will be held monthly on the first Thursday of every month from 2:30-4:00 pm. Monthly Saturday service days are great for new volunteers, students needing community service hours, or simply a rewarding way to start your weekend. Tasks vary depending on property needs, and may including planting, weed eradication, construction, cleaning, painting, digging, fence building, mopping, window washing, outreach, native plant propagation/maintenance, and more.

LIVE JAZZ AT CAL CAP BLACKBOX THEATRE!!!

 

John Coltrane is one of the greatest Jazz musicians of all time. He left an unsurpassed legacy of recordings and compositions to the world, making him one of the most significant contributors to the Jazz idiom during the 50’s and 60’s . Celebrate his body of work with Alex Jenkins, Arlyn Anderson, Levi Saelua, and Alex Reiff.

 

On the 29th the Cal Cap Black Box Theater will host the Alex Jenkins Quartet for a night of Music.  

The Alex Jenkins Quartet has been a staple of the West Coast Jazz scene since 2009.  During that time they have performed in venues throughout California such as festivals, clubs theaters, and Universities. 

The AJQ will perform some of John Coltrane's most beloved music which is sure to be an audience pleaser.  Their last “Coltrane” show sold out both nights so get your tickets soon!
