Snowshoe Hike #3

Join volunteer naturalists, Joe & Felicia Mendygral for the final and third snowshoe hike where we are increasing the distance. This hike will be about 5.5 miles. We’ll start with a quick warm up then get on the trail.  When we take a break, we will discuss avalanches.  If you need to borrow snowshoes, arrive at 10. Don’t forget to bring water, power,snacks and/or lunch. If you still have energy after the snowshoe, Mueller is a great place to sled.

Join volunteer naturalist, Rose, in exploring some of the history of Mueller State Park on this 5 mile loop that will take you past two old cabins. These cabins were built as early as 1915 by ranchers, and some of the structures still remain today. Meet at Black Bear Trailhead.
