FREE family fun, and be sure to tour the jail. Sheriff Mikesell, and staff along with the Honorary Deputy Sheriffs Association board members will be on hand to meet you and chat with folks from throughout the community. We will have free food; hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and snow cones. We hope to see you for our annual kickoff to summer event. You won't want to miss the fun. Vince and Larry the crash dummies, Search and Rescue, E-911 Smoke trailer, the volunteer Posse and Reserves will all be at the event as well as the Colorado State Patrol. Learn how to fly fish and how it’s different from other styles like bait fishing, trolling, and spinning. Use your new or seasoned skills to try to catch a fish at one of Mueller’s favorite ponds. All gear is provided. Best for ages 10 and older.

Test your skills or try a new one at this beginner archery class. All supplies are provided, simply come with your listening ears and a good attitude. All ages are welcome; bows have a draw weight of 6-20lbs. A nerf bow station will be available for those unable to pull back the bow string. Some adaptable equipment is available. Call for more details.

Join Forest Therapy Guide, Jane, for this peaceful 1 mile wander with prompts to quiet the mind, open the senses and connect closely with yourself & the land, closing with tea brewed from local plants. Min. age 12 recommended. Dress for changing weather, bring water & backpack for hands-free.
