Hike to remnants of a cabin built in the early 1900s by the Osborn family. Learn about homesteaders who called the land home on this 3.5 mile hike. Meet at Black Bear trailhead. The end time for this hike is an estimation.
Make cool crafts with help from Mother Nature. Ages 3 and up. At the Visitor Center.
The most exciting part of this free concert is that monetary donations are being encouraged and these funds will go to the Aspen Mine Center and it's "A Place for Kids" day care project. Ted Borden will be at the concert and have the Aspen Mine Center's donation table set up to receive funds and provide information.
Woodland Park Wind Symphony and Swing Factory Big Band are especially glad to be working with the Aspen Mine Center and the Butte Theater to provide great big band music and help raise funds for this project.
Learn about turkeys in Colorado then make your own turkey craft to take home. Fun for all ages. At the Visitor Center.
Mueller has lots of wildlife and wildlands to see. Explore the basics of Mueller State Park's wilderness and wildlife on a short hike. At the end of this program you will be sworn in as a junior ranger. Best for ages 4-12. Children and their grown ups should attend together. Meet outside the Visitor Center.
Come see the new Mueller State Park history video completed in 2024. This is a great update that includes additional information and stunning images. There will be two showings at 10am and 1pm. Showings are about 25 minutes long at the Visitor Center.
Who says smores are only good in the summer? Enjoy an after lunch dessert by the fire while listening to lore and mysterious stories about the area in and around the park. A reminder that camper services is closed, so use the restroom before arriving. At the amphitheater.
