FREE family fun, and be sure to tour the jail. Sheriff Mikesell, and staff along with the Honorary Deputy Sheriffs Association board members will be on hand to meet you and chat with folks from throughout the community.  We will have free food; hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and snow cones. We hope to see you for our annual kickoff to summer event. You won't want to miss the fun. Vince and Larry the crash dummies, Search and Rescue, E-911 Smoke trailer, the volunteer Posse and Reserves will all be at the event as well as the Colorado State Patrol.  So make sure you stop by and grab a bite to eat.

Yoga in the woods. Build Natural Strength and Resilience. Join us for a short walk into the beautiful woods near the visitor center. We'll use yoga based standing movements along with trees, plants, animals, earth and sky to build strength and resilience in our bodies and minds. Please dress in comfortable clothes that you can move in and wear sturdy lightweight walking shoes. All levels of fitness are welcome. No special equipment needed, not even a yoga mat! Participants must be able to walk independently on uneven surfaces.

Learn how to fly fish and how it’s different from other styles like bait fishing, trolling, and spinning. Use your new or seasoned skills to try to catch a fish at one of Mueller’s favorite ponds. All gear is provided. Best for ages 10 and older.

All ages are welcome; bows have a draw weight of 6-20lbs. A nerf bow station will be available for those unable to pull back the bow string. Some adaptable equipment is available. The annual Victor Gem & Mineral Show presented by the Southern Teller County Focus Group (STCFG) in Victor, Colorado will be held June 19-21. The event offers a unique way to spend Father’s Day weekend in the cool and sunny mountain air. Bring Dad to Victor, find a pet rock, learn to pan for gold, take a mine tour, and take in some free live music. The show will be held in downtown historic Victor and is open and free to the public.
 
The show will include vendors selling polished gems, hand-crafted jewelry, rough slabs, specimens, cabochons, geodes, turquoise, and more. There will also be gold and gem panning at the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum. Show hours are from 9 to 5 Friday and Saturday and 9-4 on Sunday. 
 
Saturday night, June 20, the City of Victor will sponsor free live music on the Pinnacle Park Plaza stage. Come enjoy a cold drink and take in the concert, shop for gems and jewelry, and relax in the mountain air. This is the first in a series of summer concerts hosted by the city. Concerts are free and are scheduled for several Saturday nights through August.
 
Friday through Sunday SSR Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining will offer yours of the modern gold mine. Victor Main Street will host a kid’s pet rock event, and local businesses will host special events.
