Special School District is proud to co-host the 3rd annual St. Louis County Apprenticeship and Career Pathways Showcase with the Affton, Pattonville, and Rockwood school districts. Families and students in grades 6 through 12, as well as recent graduates, are invited to these FREE events to experience a variety of careers through interactive exhibits and discussions with industry professionals.

Sponsored by American Welding School, the showcases will connect attendees to exciting and fulfilling job opportunities, many requiring training instead of a traditional, 4-year degree. Regional employers seeking young talent will be ready to share information and guidance about career pathways, including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, construction, information technology, and public safety. Some industries will offer hands-on activities and opportunities to work with equipment to ensure students enjoy an immersive experience.

Events are planned for the following dates and locations:

  • Saturday, Feb. 24, 10 AM to 1 PM, at Eureka High School

  • Saturday, March 2, 10 AM to 1 PM, North Tech High School

  • Saturday, March 9, 10 AM to 1 PM, South Tech High School
