About the event

Join us for an unforgettable night of holiday cheer at our upcoming Holiday Ornament Workshop. Sarah G. Designs will lead the way as we create three stunning snowflake ornaments. Hand pick your favorite variety of beads and customize your very own snowflake x 3! Looking for a specialized gift for those closest to you? What better gift than a personalized ornament? These will look gorgeous on your tree and just like snowflakes no two are ever the same.

Bring your friends and family and get ready to unleash your creativity for a joyful activity to kick off the Holiday season.

To add to the festivities Ashley English of Natures Gaze Gallery will be in attendance displaying her exclusive collection correlated for glo studio. She has captured remarkable images of our beautiful state of Michigan as well as Colorado, Georgia and Tennessee throughout her travels. Her photographs are sure to leave you in awe and bring calmness and serenity to your decor or make a remarkable gift for the upcoming season. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and Ashley's photographs will speak to you for years to come!

We also have the talented Pittsburgh-based artist Nicole Franssim creations on display. Her creative handcrafted designs are all one of a kind and custom made. Nicole (franssim) is a self-taught artist who grew up in the Monongahela River valley of Pennsylvania. She works primarily with crocheted plastic bags which are "harvested" and processed into an alternative medium, PLARN (plastic yarn), that is used to create unique sculptures. By drawing inspiration from nature, cartoons, folk art and the Appalachian landscape, Nicole creates works of art that reflect life around her while also utilizing a problematic material. This has enabled her to repurpose plastic and keep it out of landfills and oceans. This is her first time showing her creations in Michigan and are exclusively available at glo studio.

No party is complete without festive mocktails! Our very own Macy will be the featured mixologist of the evening. She will be creating custom mocktails and memories. So call your friends, co-workers, neighbors and even your grandmother because there is limited availability. Purchase your workshop ticket today at goingtoglo.com

Siberian Solstice 2023

Last seen on the Tibbits stage in December of 2021, Siberian Solstice provides an exciting and inspirational Christmas show with music performed in the style of the nationally acclaimed Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO). With more than 10 million albums sold, TSO has inspired generations of fans to rediscover the multi-dimensional art form of the rock opera. On the road, they have become one of the world's top acts, with Billboard magazine naming TSO one of the top touring artists of the past decade.

Enhanced by lighting and video, Siberian Solstice will feature traditional Christmas music and classical pieces presented with a rock feel using electronic keyboards, drums, and guitars.  Siberian Solstice has 8 members on stage to accurately reproduce the TSO style. The touring group from Ohio includes founding member Dave Coonrod on bass, Dave Deal and Marie Moore on keyboard, Chuck Mauk on percussion, Jamie Blank as narrator, Mary Jackson and Jenn (Britsch) Shook on vocals, Garnet McGladdery on guitar and vocals, and Kevin Peters on guitar. All are accomplished musicians with extensive recording and performance experience.

During the Christmas season, the small British town of Little Haven is torn apart by a viral outbreak that turns its citizens into blood-thirsty zombies. In this genre mashup, Anna Shepard and her friends are quickly thrown into a fight for their lives as they try to save as many of their friends and loved ones as they can. Of course the action is interspersed with energetic pop songs. According to reviewer Roger Ebert, "It's one of those rare horror movies to leave you with good holiday cheer."
