This committee hosts The Government in Focus (TGIF) Seminars, and local Candidate’s Forums. Field representatives keep us apprised of issues at the federal level. This committee supports the economic & community development projects of other local entities. This committee serves as the goodwill arm of the Chamber and welcomes new and expanding businesses and services. They volunteer at Business after Hours and Chamber events and help members celebrate groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings. The Annual Kirksville Easter Week Community Prayer Breakfast will be held Monday, March 25th through Friday, March 29th in the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall located at 100 North High Street, Kirksville, Missouri. This year’s theme is “We are God’s Hands”. Each morning you will have the opportunity to hear an inspirational talk from a layman’s point of view. This event is sponsored by these Kirksville Service Organizations: Rotary Club of Kirksville, Thousand Hills Rotary, Optimist Club, Lion’s Club, Quota of Kirksville, and Kiwanis Club of Kirksville.
