This committee serves as the goodwill arm of the Chamber and welcomes new and expanding businesses and services. They volunteer at Business after Hours and Chamber events and help members celebrate groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings. They promote the image and activities of the Chamber in a positive way by connecting personally with members. This committee promotes economic development through job fairs, business education, and committee-generated projects such as The Lookin’ Good Award, which recognizes non-residential locations for their contribution to an attractive community. This committee supports the economic & community development projects of other local entities. This committee plans events and projects to engage local business owners, increase business visibility and encourage & reward shoppers for “shopping local.” The Art Walk and New Student Welcome are two of their annual events.
