The Total Solar Eclipse is on April 8, 2024 at 1:44:35 p.m. and can be viewed in Clarksville / Red River County, Texas for 4 minutes and 20 seconds!! We will update our website with additional information. At this time the following locations in Red River County are available for parking, RV sites or camping, etc:Red River County Fairgrounds located on US 82 Business East (Main Street) in Clarksville. Parking only, no RV sites at fairgrounds. There are public restrooms, food vendors and entertainment is planned. Parking available on the downtown square, the Red River County Courthouse and Public Library parking lots in Clarksville
Langford Lake Park with RV sites. The entrance is located on SH 37 at County Road 3150 just north of the loop in Clarksville. Contact the City of Clarksville from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday at 903-427-3834, Ext. 253 for RV site reservations and more information.
