Saturday, August 9th | 10 AM–1 PM | Downtown Leavenworth
That’s right—it’s year THREE of our totally quackers scavenger hunt, and we’ve got more clues, more chaos, and yes… even more ducks.
Whether you’re a Leavenworth local or just here for the photo ops and pastries, you and your crew are in for a seriously silly downtown adventure. Expect twists, turns, goofy selfies, historical hijinks, maybe a rubber duck in a tutu (who’s to say?), and—of course—PRIZES!
How It Works (a.k.a. The Duck Protocol):Form a Team – 4–6 people is ideal (larger families can stay together, but no teams of 47 Aunt Karens, please).
Don’t have a full team? Find your duck soulmates on the Facebook event page or invite your new neighbor you’ve awkwardly waved to 12 times.
Watch Your Email – The night before the event, you’ll get your team’s login info. (Check your spam folder. Ducks are sneaky.)
Download the App – It’s a third-party app you'll need on one device per team with internet and camera access. (Yes, Grandma’s flip phone won’t cut it.)
Get Creative – Add your team name and photo to the app. There are points for creativity! Keep it PG—we’re duck hunting, not scandal hunting.
Check In at First City Creatives at 10 AM – That’s your launch pad. You’ll pick up your game bag and top-secret instructions.
10:30 AM – IT’S ON.
Clues go live in the app and lead you through downtown businesses, landmarks, and wild goose—er, duck—chases. Bonus side quests pop up throughout the game to rack up more points!
1 PM – Return to Base
Meet back at First City Creatives for prizes, photo ops, bragging rights, and maybe some surprise giveaways. Didn’t score top points? Don’t worry—random winners are a thing too.
A Few Gentle Rules (a.k.a. Please Don’t Get Banned):
Yes, you can enter businesses (some clues require it!), but be respectful. No honking at baristas.
Teams must stay together. It’s called teamwork, not scatter-like-squirrels. Also, driving places, you know who you are.
Judges’ decisions are final. Even if you think your duck hat should’ve scored more points.
It’s for FUN. We love competition, but this isn’t the Hunger Games. Be nice, laugh a lot, and take photos you'll treasure forever (or at least until next year).
Quack us up with your best team name and come ready to explore!

More info and sign-up details are coming soon on our event page—follow along so you don’t miss a thing!
