That’s why we are keeping the lights on late for the official HOCO After Party. We’ve got ice cream, sodas, games, music, and a safe, fun place to hang with your friends while you recap all the drama, show off your fits one last time, and maybe make a few more memories before the night ends. Student ID gets you in the door, and teacher chaperones, you’re welcome too, with a free appreciation drink for anyone brave enough to stay up past their bedtime.

Normally we close at 10, but for HOCO, the owners (aka “old people”) are staying up until midnight to make sure you have a place to laugh, play, and snack your way through the late hours. Our teen staff is out living their best HOCO life too, so the grown-ups (and lets be real, the B-team) are running the shop, which means chaos is guaranteed, but the vibes will be
.So pull up, bring the crew, and end your HOCO night somewhere way cooler than the parking lot.

The goal of The Gothic Line is to create an immersive and authentic environment, which seeks to replicate what the front line was like and to give a glimpse into what life was like for the average infantryman within a company vs company engagement on The Gothic Line in Italy, October 1944.
The Gothic Line IX is a WWII Full Immersion Historical Event from Saturday, October 11 to Saturday, October 18 hosted by MARS. The event is nonstop from the moment it begins. There are high authenticity regulations in place, as well as specific units that are portrayed at the event. More information can be found on the website about these impressions and their authenticity guidelines.
Authentic rations and the ammunition will be supplied by MARS for The Gothic Line. There is a Training Event hosted by MARS for The Gothic Line, in April 2025. We encourage all future participants of Gothic Line to attend to learn more how these units would operate historically.
If you are unable to arrive on October 11th, do not worry, there are methods in place for "replacements" arriving to The Gothic Line. Despite arriving late as a replacement, you will still be in the event for the remainder of its entirety. Please reach out if this is the case for you.
If you have any questions, please post them on the event page, on the Facebook group, or you can email Contact2MARS@gmail.com

The Skeleton Ruck Run/Walk is a fun and unique Halloween event that resembles a military ruck. However, our version is not timed, nor a race. However, it maybe "ghouling", but definitely not grueling! This Halloween themed Run/Walk is designed to be fun and festive for kids and adults.
The 1st 50 youth registrants from 4 - 17 yrs old will receive a custom Skeleton Ruck drawstring bag to keep. The drawstring bag will be used as their "ruck sack" to carry their skeleton around the Run/Walk course. Each registrant will get to name their skeleton at the time of registration.
Each registrant 4 yrs and older will receive an event t-shirt.
Each registrant from 1 - 17 yrs old will receive a reusable Trick-or-Treat bag (photo in link below) to pick up some treats along our Treats on Terror Trail. Spread throughout the Run/Walk courses, treat stations will allow kids to stop and Trick-or-Treat while they progress along the course. They will also receive a post event picnic meal.
At the conclusion of the Run/Walk, each registrant will "lay their skeleton to rest" in our Basehor Boneyard in the event lawn. Alongside each skeleton will stand a grave marker with the skeleton's name and "carried by ___________". The registrant's name will be filled in to give them credit for carrying their skeleton during the Run/Walk.
We will have music and post-event activities for kids that will be announced soon.

Throughout the day, you’ll be guided through mindful practices that help you reconnect with yourself and the earth.
The retreat will include a mix of activities such as guided walks through the woods, opportunities for solitude and contemplation, and engaging group discussions. These practices will support your journey toward emotional resilience, helping you process grief, stress, and eco-anxiety while gaining clarity and strength for continued action in the fight for environmental justice.Participants are invited to bring a sack lunch, designed with zero-waste principles in mind. There will be plenty of time for personal reflection and sharing.

Participants will be invited to explore nature through both structured activities and solo time, where they can journal, meditate, or sit in stillness, connecting with the land and allowing the wisdom of nature to be a guide.
