| People are the true power behind economic growth — and the next generation of talent is already here. The fourth event in the 2026 GMBA Economic Forum Series focuses on Workforce & Innovation, exploring how education, business, and community partnerships can strengthen the local talent pipeline and create new opportunities for both youth and adults in Western Pinal County. This forum brings together leaders in education, workforce development, and business innovation to discuss strategies for preparing the next generation for meaningful careers, while also addressing the needs of underemployed residents seeking new pathways in a changing economy. Confirmed Participants Include: Arizona Board of Regents – insights on higher education initiatives and statewide talent strategies Maricopa Unified School District – preparing students for life after graduation through career readiness and industry connections Central Arizona College (CAC) – expanding technical training and workforce education across Pinal County ARIZONA@WORK – connecting employers with skilled talent and workforce support programs Pinal County Workforce Development – local collaboration and regional employment trends GMBA Foundation – advancing youth mentorship, work-based learning, and employer engagement initiatives Together, these organizations are driving innovation in how communities prepare people for work, upskill the underemployed, and align education with employer needs.
