Power can be cut off for hours, days, and perhaps weeks.
We cannot control the elements, but we can control our preparation and our response.
We can prepare ourselves to assist our family first and then be an aid to neighbors in need of support
We meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6 pm. Meeting place: City Hall. All are welcome.

The Firecracker Wiener Nationals is a charity dachshund race held on the 4th of July in Rockaway Beach, Oregon, to raise money for the Tillamook Animal Shelter.

People of African descent have lived and worked in Oregon since before the founding of the earliest English-speaking settlements. Despite this, the state's popular narrative excludes the historic experiences of African Americans before the mid-20th century. This erasure is the result of legal and social marginalization that contributes to the ignorance of Oregon’s Black heritage, as well as influences contemporary disparities in day-to-day life.
