Gather your group and have fun planning your FLOATS, boats, golf carts or whatever your entry may be for this year’s Rend Lake Water Festival Parade.  It’s sure to be a day filled with fun and sunshine!  This year’s parade will be on Saturday May 2nd 2026

This year's theme is "Sparkle & Splash"

Our community is full of energy, excitement, and summertime fun, and we challenge you to make a splash! Show off your creativity with bright colors, water-themed decorations, and plenty of sparkle. Whether you highlight Rend Lake, celebrate summer traditions, or create your own dazzling display, we want to see your float shine!

Not feeling super creative? No problem! Throw on your brightest beachwear, add some glitter and shine, and cruise through town in true Sparkle & Splash style.

Be creative. Be original. Make your entry the best one in the parade!  

This year’s parade will look a little different as we go back to our roots!

The parade will begin on East Main Street, directly in front of Kirkpatrick Motors. Parade lineup will take place along Church Street, with registration located beside R&R Motorsports, just behind the Campbell Building.

The parade route will travel down East Main Street, circle the square (in reverse), and then continue down North Main Street to Joplin Street.

Additional Lineup Details:

• All bands will meet in the parking lot of Kirkpatrick Motors and will enter the parade from there when prompted.

• All heavy equipment, fire trucks, emergency vehicles, tractors, etc. will line up on East Washington Street behind the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and will enter the parade through the Juvenile Detention Center parking lot.

We’re excited to bring this tradition back and can’t wait to see everyone along the route!

Parade line up will start at 8:00 am as usual and the parade will begin at 10:02 am.
