H.O.P.E. and the City of Corvallis will be giving an update to informs the community about the HOPE Board recommendations and how they will be implemented in our community going forward.

OUR PRESENTERS

PAUL BILOTTA
Paul Bilotta moved back to Oregon in 2016 to become the Community Development Director for the City of Corvallis.  He was previously the Community Development Director for the cities of Roseville and Shakopee in Minnesota and began his public sector career in Champaign, Illinois. Paul spent part of his career as a consultant for award winning projects in the United States and Canada as well as working as a developer for retail and residential developments across the country.

Paul has a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

SUZANNE HOFFMAN
 Suzanne Hoffman was appointed as Benton County’s Health Department Director in October of 2020. She brings over twenty years of Health and Human Services public sector experience with the State of Oregon, the last five at the Oregon Health Authority serving as the agency’s Chief Operating Officer as well as the interim Public Health Division Director and interim Agency Director. She also served as interim Director to the Oregon Patient Safety Commission.
Following her career with the State of Oregon, Suzanne transitioned to the non-profit sector as Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development for a Behavioral Health organization.
Suzanne earned both a B.S. and a M.P.H. from Portland State University.

JULIE ARENA
Julie Arena is the HOPE Advisory Board Coordinator. The HOPE Advisory Board collects research and public feedback to provide policy recommendations to the City of Corvallis and to Benton County. Topics under the purview of HOPE include homelessness, housing, opportunities, long-term planning, and equity.
