Latina Equal Payday hosted by the Hispano Chamber Women in Business Program

 
We are here to crush the pay gap for all women. We are coming together with our industry partners, creating new perspectives, breaching tough conversations, and educating ourselves to be the best we can be. We are a proactive group addressing ways for Latinas and women to actively close the gap in salary and financial net worth here in New Mexico.
 
Within this full-day educational summit, we will be addressing the current status of women in New Mexico and nationally. We expect 80-100 women executives, business owners, and community stakeholders. We will be addressing all aspects of equal pay for women. Topics currently include facts and figures addressing the disparity, cultural awareness, negotiation skills, company policy review, and financial literacy for women empowerment.
 
We will also have small group sessions for conversation between women. We will wrap up with resolutions for our Hispano Chamber Women in Business Program, including a call to action for our business community and legislative partners with measurable items to support and encourage closing the financial gap for women. Please make no mistake, this day is a day to celebrate our strengths. Reflect and recognize how we can improve our status and positively impact ourselves, our families, and our communities as a whole.
