Office of Emergency Management and Communications
For many years, public safety leaders in Franklin County have looked at ways to modernize and improve public safety services. A consolidated dispatch center has always been at the top of the list. In 2024 the decision was made to move forward with the consolidated dispatch project. Through significant work and cooperation from many agencies the project came to fruition and was recently completed. The new center includes six fully functional answering points and is built to the highest standards as it relates to function and stability.
Housekeeping Note:
If your plans change and you can't attend, please call the office by Monday November 10 at noon. We encourage you to send a co-worker to represent your organization and network, otherwise you will be billed for your lunch.
