The American Fork Steel Days Sing-off is a voice/singing competition. The initial round will consist of contestants sending in a YouTube video of their performance to be judged by the Sing-off committee. The second round will include the top finalists who will perform in front of live judges at the Steel Days Sing-off live event. The top 3 winners will perform the following day during the Steel Days Big Show events.

Rules

• There are no age requirements and no restrictions on who can compete.
• Instruments are not allowed
• The contest entry fee is $25.00, which includes a Steel Days Sing-off T-shirt and a possibility to perform in the American Fork Steel Days Sing-off live event
• Due to the family nature of the event, inappropriate and offensive content is prohibited
• In case of song duplication, you'll be given the option to choose another song

• Participants must record and submit a public YouTube video and send us the URL link. The video must be 5 minute or less
• Submit your name and URL to steeldays@afcity.net with the subject "Steel Days Sing-off Video Submission"

• July 14th - Participant submissions must be received by midnight
• July 17th - The top finalists will be announced. The chosen final contestants must provide a back-up/sound track of the song you wish to perform (preferred format is mp3 or wav files). Please email the soundtrack to steeldays@afcity.net by July 17th.
• July 20th - American Fork Steel Days Sing-off Live event. The top finalists will perform and be judged for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
• July 21st - 2nd and 3rd place winners will sing in the Steel Day's Big Show Pre-show
• July 21st - 1st place winner will open for the Steel Day's Big Show

The Steel Days Committee reserves the right to make adjustments at any time to ensure a successful event.
