Event Description
We are excited to announce our first annual Battle of the Forks Pickleball Tournament, pitting the best of the American Fork area against the best of the Spanish Fork area. On Saturday, May 11th, compete for the top 4 spots in your division at Art Dye Park for a chance to play against the top teams from Spanish Fork in the "Fork Championship" held in Spanish Fork on May 18th.

May 11 - We will have swag, medals for the top 3 teams, a trophy for the top team, vendors, food trucks, music, and more! There are 3 categories: Men, Women, and Mixed with 4 different divisions for each category. There is a one time fee of $80 ($60 for Chamber members) which will also cover your entry fee into the Championship round if you qualify!

May 18 - Battle of the Fork Championship. Who will win bragging rights as the best Forking Team in the Valley? The top 4 teams from each qualifier round from both American Fork and Spanish Fork will compete for the chance to win the Battle of the Forks and walk away as Champions. More swag, medals, and giveaways will be awarded throughout the day! We will also have an exhibition round that pits the best of American Fork City against the best of Spanish Fork City to see who will win the Battle of the Forks Trophy!

Pickleball Tournament Rules
  • All groups are doubles (One team registration includes a registration for two players and swag bags for each participant)
  • Ages 12 & up
  • Division Level is determined by the level of the highest ranked player on the team. To determine your division, go to www.usapa.org
  • Time slots with multiple skill level divisions will not have interdivision play unless there are not at least five teams
  • The tournament will be played in a round-robin format with each team playing at least 4 games, and the winner will be determined by overall record, head to head record, and point differential
  • Onyx pickleballs will be used for tournament play
  • The top 4 teams in each division will move on to the Championship tournament
