The Marion Chamber of Commerce hosts a Lunch & Learn each month as part of the Leadership Marion program, sponsored by Heartland Regional Medical Center. Admission is $15 per Marion Chamber member ($20 for non-Chamber).  Special Bring a Friend Offer for April - Buy one admission, get one free.

Dr. Victor Mwansa, interventional cardiologist and medical director of the River to River Heart Group, will be sharing his masterful practice of caring for patients and the community he serves.  Dr. Mwansa is well-known in our region not only as an outstanding and highly skilled physician but also as a compassionate servant-leader.  "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care" is a leadership axiom he lives by every day.  
 
Dr. Mwansa specializes in coronary interventions, vascular and endovascular interventions, vein ablations, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, pace maker/ICD implantation, heart failure, and management of transplant patient and mechanical assist devices.  He received first class honors and graduated summa cum laude with his Doctor of Medicine from the Havana University School of Medicine.  His honors and awards include Best Teaching Fellow and clinical skills and scholarships at John Stroger Hospital of Cook County,  and a distinction and best Academic Performance Diploma in Internal Medicine from the University of London.
