May the 4th Be With You for the second annual Cinco de Mayo Block Party! Join us Saturday, May 4 from 11-8 on Courtland Street in downtown Rockford between Main and Monroe.
It's a family-friendly, fun & festive time:
The turnout last year was beyond our expectations and we're on a mission to step it up this year -- MORE & faster food, live mariachi with Gabriel Estrada III, more tables & seating, lots of activities for kids including The Balloon Guy, the miniature donkeys from The Tipsy Burro, axe throwing with BattleGR, face painting, plus more entertainment and neighbor biz stands, including some surprises...
Come for the tacos and stay for the fun! Who knows, you might get lucky and win something (like a stuffed piñata!). All of our friends within RORA, whether on the block or down the block, will be ready to keep your glasses full and the good times going. *Star Wars costumes highly encouraged!*
