Program Overview:
The Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the United Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to host an 8-week business growth accelerator specifically for Hispanic owned businesses ready to take their business to the next level.
USHCC AVANZAR is an accelerator program that supports entrepreneurs to grow strategically by developing the following skills and outcomes needed for businesses to thrive and be positioned to scale in the near future:
• Developing a business plan
• Honing a strategic mindset to support businesses’ long-term vision and success
• Foundational understanding of a capability statement and its role in procurement
Each week 1-hour workshops will be held on topics including but not limited to the following:
o Building financial plans
o Marketing/Social Media
o Streamlining Operations
o Access to capital
o Strategic budgeting
o Workforce management/HR
Entrepreneur Requirements • Minimum years of operation: 3 years
• Capability to scale up into an enterprise that is bankable in the long term
• Desire to grow and scale their business
• Hispanic-owned business
• Commitment to the 8-week program (Proposed Timeline: Monday's 10/30 - 12/18)
